For those who visit Senegal, a trip to discover the Sine Saloum delta, a national park listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site since 2011, becomes an absolutely essential stopover.
The delta, with its 200 islands largely covered in mangroves, creates a set of small navigable roads that can only be crossed by piroghs.
